Jeff joined SET in 2015. SET experience has focused on auto dealerships, but also includes office buildings, fitness centers, medical offices and multifamily projects. Spent the first part of his career in the oil industry, bringing work ethic and a hands-on approach to his job at SET.

History of SET Central Texas, LLC

SET was started August 2009 from my home with a vision of growing to be one of the largest flooring contractors in the Houston market. While learning the industry from my own kitchen table taught me the experience of knowing all aspects of the job. After 6 months I moved into an office and was awarded my first project.  SET then had six man crew and the race was on. We performed so we’ll the same GC awarded us two additional projects which were much larger and much more detail.  SET continued to grow at rapid pace At this point as a business owner decisions had to be in order to sustain safety, quality, and performance.  I made the decision to hire my first employee.  SET was on its way to the company I was envisioning from day one. We SET goals and stuck to them, together we said, “Let’s grow this company and we will do it by being the most responsive Flooring and Tile contractor in this city.”  As our customer base grew they started to realize how dedicated and responsive we really were.  Not focusing on 1 scope we became a turnkey for all flooring, tile needs and customers were amazed that they could write one contract and have SET perform all scopes to a level that hadn’t been done before.  Once we became known for this, our customer base continued to grow as we continued to introduce the SET way.  Volume and Profit grew and so did the outstanding management and employee team that we have until this day.  Our Team understands the vision so well it’s a culture that has been built and instilled in each one of us. SET understands that without the TEAM we have we wouldn’t have accomplished the strong reputation we have. From conception in 2009 until current date SETs infrastructure has remained the same great people and all working toward the same goal, which is success on every project.  I am very proud to be an owner of such a successful company and to know that my people have set us apart in many ways from our competitors.  SET speaks for itself when you look not only at the value of work accomplished over the years, but also at the relationships built in and out of the office.
